Dott. Giuseppe Cotellessa

Introducono e moderano:

  • Carmine Marinucci, Presidente DiCultHer
  • Giovanni Piscolla, Direttore DiCultHer
  • Silvia Mazzeo, Responsabile DiCultHer Academy

On Friday, October 23, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Webinar #175—the third day of the First #DiCultHer National Congress—will take place.

In this webinar, titled “What Do We Think?”, the authors who submitted articles for issue 18 of the journal *Culture Digitali* will take the floor.

Issue 18 of the journal brings together approximately fifty contributions in five different languages.

Upon reading them all together, we discovered something we hadn’t anticipated: the collection does not contain fifty distinct theses, but rather a few core arguments supported by many different voices—even though none of the authors consulted with one another.

In the October 23rd webinar, these voices will come together—and will also engage with schools.

Rather than separate discussions, we will all sit at the same table: a teacher will share what unfolded in their classroom, while an expert who has studied that phenomenon will explain its significance. Then, we will discuss it together.

We are not asking the participating authors to summarize their articles—those interested can read them on their own. Instead, we are asking them to share the one key insight—from everything that has been written—that a teacher could take into their classroom on Monday morning.

The final day of the Congress will take place during the webinar on October 30th. These are not isolated webinars, but rather parts of a single, unified process of recognition, reflection, and a fresh start.

CULTIVATE, EDUCATE, HUMANIZE—these are the three verbs that serve as a compass for DiCultHer:

CULTIVATE, because knowledge is not generated with a single click. It requires time, attention, care, relationships, and responsibility.
EDUCATE, because AI is not merely a technological issue. It challenges our judgment, freedom, and citizenship, as well as our capacity to discern, verify, and make choices. HUMANIZE—because no innovation is truly innovative if it impoverishes relationships, homogenizes cultures, or strips individuals of the responsibility for their own decisions. Innovation gains meaning when it strengthens dignity, inclusion, plurality, democracy, and the common good.
