L'Estonia sta pensando di lanciare l’Estcoin, la sua criptovaluta di Stato. Sarebbe così il primo Paese al mondo a emettere criptovaluta con il lancio di una Ico, offerta di moneta iniziale (Initial coin offering) per finanziare un ulteriore sviluppo della sua infrastruttura digitale. Ad aiutare l’Estonia nell’impresa c’è il russo Vitalik Buterin, fondatore di Ethereum, la seconda criptovaluta più scambiata del mondo.
