Nel tempo dell’Intelligenza Artificiale, la domanda decisiva non è più soltanto che cosa possiamo fare, ma che cosa non possiamo e non dobbiamo delegare.

Pensiero, relazione educativa, responsabilità, cura, memoria e patrimonio, valutazione, cittadinanza, futuro: non come parole astratte o principi enunciati, ma come scelte quotidiane che riguardano chi educa, chi fa cultura, chi opera nei territori, nelle istituzioni e nelle comunità.

Il webinar Custodire il futuro nasce da questa domanda semplice e radicale: come spazio di confronto tra esperienze, pratiche e punti di vista diversi, accomunati dalla consapevolezza che l’Intelligenza Artificiale non è solo un tema tecnico tra gli altri, ma il luogo in cui oggi si misura la qualità della nostra responsabilità educativa e civile.

Nel quadro delle attività di DiCultHer ed, in particolare, della DiCultHer Academy, questo incontro rappresenta un passaggio chiave: un momento in cui la riflessione teorica incontra le esperienze, e le esperienze si riconoscono parte di una visione culturale condivisa.

Una visione che non contrappone umano ed artificiale, ma rifiuta ogni forma di delega che si traduca in rinuncia: al pensiero critico, alla relazione, alla cura, alla cittadinanza, alla responsabilità, alla possibilità di immaginare futuro.

Con i contributi di voci autorevoli del mondo dell’educazione, della cultura, delle istituzioni, del giornalismo civico e dell’impegno sociale, il webinar intende interrogare il presente per educare l’innovazione, per abitare l’AI senza smarrire ciò che rende l’educazione e la cultura pratiche umane, pubbliche e generative.

Custodire il futuro non è un titolo evocativo, ma una presa di posizione: significa scegliere oggi ciò che resta affidato alle persone, alle comunità educanti, alle istituzioni culturali.
Significa riconoscere che il futuro non si prevede, non si automatizza, non si delega: si educa.

Ed è precisamente questo il compito che la DiCultHer Academy assume come proprio orizzonte: non trasmettere soluzioni, ma costruire contesti in cui pensiero, responsabilità e immaginazione non vengono esternalizzati, ma coltivati insieme.

Come spunto per la discussione nel Webinar DiCultHer ha redatto un Documento-Manifesto aperto dal titolo Custodire il futuro costruito attorno ad una domanda semplice ed insieme decisiva: che cosa, nel tempo dell’IA, non può e non deve essere delegato.

In the age of Artificial Intelligence, the crucial question is no longer simply what we can do, but what we cannot and must not delegate.

Thought, educational relationships, responsibility, care, memory and heritage, evaluation, citizenship, the future: not as abstract words or enunciated principles, but as daily choices that affect those who educate, those who create culture, and those who work in local communities, institutions, and communities.

The webinar "Guarding the Future" was born from this simple and radical question: as a space for discussion between different experiences, practices, and points of view, united by the awareness that Artificial Intelligence is not just another technical topic among others, but the place where the quality of our educational and civic responsibility is measured today.

Within the framework of DiCultHer's activities, and specifically of the DiCultHer Academy, this meeting represents a key step: a moment in which theoretical reflection meets experience, and experiences recognize themselves as part of a shared cultural vision.

A vision that does not oppose human and artificial, but rejects any form of delegation that translates into a renunciation of critical thinking, relationships, care, citizenship, responsibility, and the ability to imagine the future.

With contributions from authoritative voices in the worlds of education, culture, institutions, civic journalism, and social engagement, the webinar aims to interrogate the present to educate innovation, to inhabit AI without losing what makes education and culture human, public, and generative practices.

Guarding the future is not an evocative title, but a stance: it means choosing today what remains entrusted to people, educational communities, and cultural institutions.

It means recognizing that the future cannot be predicted, automated, or delegated: it is educated.

And this is precisely the task that the DiCultHer Academy embraces as its horizon: not to transmit solutions, but to build contexts in which thought, responsibility, and imagination are not externalized, but cultivated together.

As a starting point for the webinar discussion, DiCultHer has drafted an open manifesto document titled "Safeguarding the Future," built around a simple yet crucial question: what, in the age of AI, cannot and must not be delegated.
